Conditions of Membership


Membership and Fees

As of the 1st July 2005 full LiveCorp Membership shall be conditional on the retaining of an export license as per terms set out in the Constitution of the Company. Membership in the form of Associate Membership shall be available to any individual or organisation who wishes to access some of the various livestock export services LiveCorp offers.
 
Full Membership
Eligibility:             Licensed exporter
 
Full membership is granted on receipt of completed application form. Continuity of Membership is subject to the terms outlined in the Constitution.
 
The Board may determine any other conditions of membership that from time to time do not adversely impact the rights of existing members.

Full Membership Levies
Full Membership Levies are payable via the Statutory Levy collected by the Government Levy Revenue Service (LRS) with DAFF. They are paid on the export of cattle, sheep and/or goats on a basis determined in legislation currently:
 
Cattle:                $0.0095238 /kg live weight
Sheep/Lambs:   $0.60/head
Goats:                $0.50/head
 
Exporters are required to submit a return within 28 days after the month in which a shipment has sailed. Payment is made at the time the Return is submitted.
 
Associate Membership
Eligibility:             Unlicensed, industry stakeholders or persons who contribute to or are likely to contribute to the industry in the reasonably near future.
 
This is made available to all organizations that are not actively or otherwise directly involved in the export of livestock but still have an interest in developments within the industry.
 
Associate membership is granted on receipt of completed application form. Membership is reviewed annually and continuity of Associate Membership is based upon renewal.
 
The Board may determine any other conditions of membership that from time to time do not adversely impact the rights of existing members.

Associate Membership Fees
Amount:                              $1,500 (inc. gst) per annum

Membership Term

Full Membership
Full Membership continues until your membership in no longer valid as outlined in the Constitution and this application. LiveCorp reserves the right to discontinue membership services should the conditions of membership be breached.

 
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is renewed annually 1st July and a renewal notice shall be sent to you.

The Australian Livestock Export Industry

LiveCorp works closely with industry stakeholders to continuously improve performance in animal health and welfare, supply chain efficiency and market access through the provision of technical services and research, development and extension (RD&E).
Australian livestock can only be exported by a licensed Australian exporter and cannot be exported to all countries. If you would like to export livestock from Australia you can contact an exporter by submitting a trade enquiry below.
