This project reviewed the Live Export Research and Development Program to identify ways to improve its effectiveness and efficiency.  The project comprised over 50 stakeholder interviews as well as a document review and an examination of similar R&D programs.  The project has shown that the live export R&D program generally operates effectively and is held in high regard by stakeholders.  A series of recommendations has been made to improve aspects of the program's structure, strategic planning, project management and communications.
