This study was undertaken as part of the project entitled 'Investigations into Reducing Odour Emissions from Partly Loaded Sheep Vessels Whilst in Port’. The report outlines the findings of an indoor feeding trial designed to evaluate the effectiveness of four dietary treatments and five bedding additives in reducing ammonia and odour from sheep faeces and urine. The report recommended gypsum, zeolite and yucca be further tested on-board vessels.
