This study was instigated by Livestock Export R&D Program, in collaboration with the Indonesian Feedlotters Association (APFINDO) and investigated alternative feedstuffs and feed treatment methods capable of reducing the feed cost of gain in Indonesian feedlots. A detailed listing of current and potential new commodity options and key conclusions and recommendations are presented.
