The scope of this project was very broad and included the identification of demonstrative knowledge and application gaps as well as the assessment of the R&D program’s capacity to materially assist the industry to achieve its goals.

The scope of this project was very broad and included the identification of demonstrative knowledge and application gaps as well as the assessment of the R&D program’s capacity to materially assist the industry to achieve its goals. The report outlines a matrix to systematically address industry practices within the livestock export process and identified inconsistencies between industry guidelines and the research recommendations, parts and activities within the supply chain where formal or widely accepted guidelines do not exist and also identified and prioritised R&D requirements to support existing practices and guidelines.
