This report provides an overview of the behaviour, welfare and management of sheep and cattle with and without horns and the mixing or segregation of horned and polled livestock during sea voyages.

The report found there were no detrimental effects on mixed groups in comparison to segregated groups. The project also developed a technique for the long-term video monitoring of livestock on voyages.
