Livestock Global Assurance Program

Request for Proposal

Audit and Certification and Control and Traceability IT Solution

The Australian Livestock Export Corporation Limited (LiveCorp) is seeking proposals for organisations or project teams to develop the IT system for the Livestock Global Assurance Program.

The suitability of the Australian livestock trade is dependent on assurances of animal welfare outcomes, transparency of the systems and accountability of individual livestock exporters.

For this reason the Australian livestock export industry has developed the Livestock Global Assurance Program that will certify international facilities and operators (i.e. import businesses) that import Australian livestock (cattle, sheep and goats) against a standar that sets out the requirements related to management and welfare of the animals within their custody and / or ownership.

A detailed "Request for Proposal" document will be made available to potential applicants by submitting a request to [email protected]

Responses to the proposals should be submitted by 5.00 PM on Friday 15 February 2019.

Decisions on the applicants will be communicated by the end of February 2019.
