Goat Statistics

In 2014 Australia exported a total of 88,531 head of live goats, valued at A$8.6 million FOB.

The largest market was Malaysia which imported a total of 82,725 head and accounted for 93% of total goat exports. New South Wales was the largest export state for live goats and exported 46,218 head, followed by South Australia that exported 39,107 live goats.

Over 99% of all goats were transported by airfreight.
