LiveCorp recently finalised a comprehensive and independent review of the economic methodology and data applied within the ACIL Taman report titled - “A review of adjustments that would be required if live sheep exports from WA ceased” (commissioned by RSPCA).
In undertaking its review, LiveCorp engaged the services of Economic Insights Pty Ltd to ensure that the review process was credible and independent.
It will come as no surprise that the ACIL Tasman study was full of significant errors and the methodology, while innovative, was severely underdeveloped.
Along with the data being unverified, this study cannot be taken as a reliable indication of ceasing the live sheep export trade in Western Australia and is nothing more than misleading.
