The National Arbovirus Monitoring Program (NAMP) is an initiative facilitated by animal Health Australia demonstrating the current reports for the presence of insect vectors that may carry the Bluetongue virus. Many customer country programs use freedom from bluetongue virus as a criteria. NAMP may be used for SOME of these protocols to demonstrate that livestock have been sourced from Bluetongue free areas.
