Sheep export numbers decreased by a further 16.8% in 2010 to 2,968,571 down from 3,567,609 in 2009. The value decreased slightly by 0.13% during the same period to $322,527,205. Kuwait was again the largest importer of live sheep in 2010. Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan were the next three largest importers of Australian sheep. Financial year 2010/2011 total was 2,916,414 with a value of $348.1 million. This is a decrease of 5% volume and a increase of 15% value on previous financial year figures.
