Live cattle exports for 2009 totalled 945,702 up 8.9% on 868,510 at the end of 2008. The value also increased by 3.3% from $638 million in 2008 to $659 million in 2009. Average price decreased by $38 to $697. Financial year total 2008/2009 was 893,158 with a value of $651.9 million. This is an increase of 16.1% over 2007/2008 financial year total and an increase of 20.6% in value.
